Heaven's Seven Brassica Blend – Premium Multi-Species Fall Forage Mix
Diverse, High-Performance Brassica Blend for Long-Lasting Attraction, Soil Health, and Cold-Season Nutrition
This carefully selected brassica blend brings together seven powerhouse species to deliver maximum tonnage, extended forage availability, and layered nutrition from early fall through the late season. Each component plays a unique role in drawing and holding deer while also improving soil health and plot performance year after year.
The blend features a combination of early and late maturing varieties, leafy tops and rooted bulbs, and cold-hardy species that keep deer returning long after other plots have faded.
What’s Inside:
-
Winfred Brassica – A hybrid of turnip and kale that delivers early growth and outstanding regrowth after browsing. Highly palatable from the start of fall.
-
Hunter Forage Brassica – Fast-growing and protein-rich, designed for quick establishment and early-season attraction.
-
Purple Top Turnip – A reliable dual-purpose brassica that produces leafy forage and energy-packed bulbs that deer dig for deep into winter.
-
Daikon Radish – Known for its deep taproot that breaks soil compaction, scavenges nutrients, and provides sweet, late-season forage after frost.
-
Dwarf Siberian Kale – Tender, leafy greens with impressive cold tolerance and late-season palatability.
-
Collards (All-Vantage Coated) – Broad-leafed, cold-hardy brassica with excellent regrowth and high forage yield, enhanced with a biological seed coating for improved germination and root development.
-
Trophy Rape – A late-maturing leafy brassica that stays green and grazeable deep into winter, even under heavy pressure.
Performance:
This blend is built to attract and feed whitetails through the entire fall and winter season. Early species like Winfred, Hunter, and kale offer immediate attraction. As cold weather sets in, turnips, radish, collards, and rape take over to provide lasting forage and critical energy when it matters most. The root crops also contribute to long-term soil health by improving tilth and feeding soil biology.
It’s an ideal choice for those looking to build a reliable destination plot or an annual food source that delivers consistent traffic, nutrition, and soil improvement all in one pass.
