Dutch White Clover – Coated with All-Vantage
Low-Growing, Long-Lived Clover for Soil Building, Pollinators, and Consistent Grazing Pressure
Dutch White Clover is a small-leaved, low-growing perennial legume known for its durability, soil-improving properties, and high nutritional value. While often overlooked for larger clovers like ladino or medium red, Dutch white plays a crucial role in long-term food plot design—especially in perennial blends or low-maintenance micro-plots.
This variety establishes quickly, fixes atmospheric nitrogen into the soil, and spreads via stolon's (above-ground runners) to create a dense, weed-suppressing mat. Once established, Dutch white clover tolerates mowing, grazing, and foot traffic extremely well—making it ideal for trails, small kill plots, orchard rows, and areas where low-profile ground cover is desired.
While not a “primary draw” species on its own, Dutch white clover is highly palatable to deer and turkeys, and holds nutritional value (up to 28% protein) throughout the growing season. It’s also a pollinator favorite—attracting bees and beneficial insects when in bloom.
This seed is pre-inoculated for effective nitrogen fixation and coated with All-Vantage, a premium seed treatment designed to enhance germination, boost early root growth, and improve seed-to-soil contact. The All-Vantage coating adds biologicals and flowability for even spreading, especially helpful when seeding small plots or broadcasting by hand.
Dutch white clover performs best in fertile, well-drained soils with consistent moisture and a neutral pH. Once established, it can persist for 3–5 years or more with light maintenance and proper mowing.
