Planting Information

• Seeding Rate: 10 lbs per acre

• Planting Depth: ½" – 1"

• Planting Time: Late spring through early summer (soil temps 60°F+)

• Sunlight: Full sun required

• Recommended Width: Plant in strips at least 15 feet wide for maximum screening effectiveness

• Fertilizer Needs: Soil Sample highly recommended! 
  pH of 6.2-6.8, 70 lbs per acre of (N) Nitrogen at planting and another 60 lbs at the 12” height. 70lbs per acre of (P) Phosphorus and 150 lbs per acre of (K) Potassium at planting. 

• At Planting: work 300 lbs of 19-19-19 and 150 lbs of 0-0-60 into the soil before seeding. 

• Mid-Summer Boost: 250 lbs of 21–0-0-24S (AMS) OR 150 lbs of 46-0-0 (Urea). Apply this right before a predicted rain in July (or when plants are about 12”) to push Iron Wall™ to its maximum height.
